Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Drive to Thimphu (1.5 hours)
- Arrival in Paro International Airport: After completing visa formalities, you’ll be greeted by your guide.
- Drive to Thimphu: A scenic drive along the Paro-Thimphu Highway with river views.
- On the way: Stop at Tachog Lhakhang Bridge, an iron chain bridge.
- Check-in at your hotel in Thimphu.
- Visit Memorial Chorten: Built in memory of the Third King, it’s a major Buddhist landmark.
- Buddha Dordenma: Marvel at one of the largest Buddha statues in the world with panoramic views of Thimphu Valley.
- Leisurely stroll around the Thimphu Market in the evening.

Day 2: Explore Thimphu

Day 3: Thimphu to Punakha (2.5 hours)
- Dochula Pass (3,100 meters): Stop here en route to Punakha for breathtaking views of the eastern Himalayas, with 108 memorial chortens adorning the pass.
- Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple): Visit this revered temple associated with Drukpa Kunley (the Divine Madman) and its unique blessings for fertility.
- Punakha Dzong: The second oldest and largest Dzong in Bhutan, located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. It’s known for its stunning architecture and religious significance.
- Suspension Bridge: Take a walk across one of Bhutan’s longest suspension bridges over the Mo Chhu river.
Overnight in Punakha
Day 4: Punakha to Paro (3-4 hours)

- Drive back to Paro: Enjoy the scenic drive back to Paro.

Day 5: Hike to Paro Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest)

- Hiking time: Approx. 4-5 hours round trip (depending on pace).
- Lunch: Enjoy lunch at the cafeteria halfway up, with stunning views of the monastery.
- Afternoon: Leisure time in Paro to relax after the hike or explore the local markets.

Day 6: Departure from Paro
